The Quranic Rule On Obtaining Allah’s Guidance

}وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ لَمَعَ المُحْسِنِينَ {

chapter 29,Verse سورة العنكبوت ، 69 Al-‘Ankabut (The Spider) – ·

وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ لَمَعَ المُحْسِنِينَ { { ·

  • And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our Path. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.

Guidance for the main purpose of living has always been a mystery for the humanity, why were we born? What are we supposed to achieve? And how do we achieve it? For whom are we supposed to give up things we can enjoy and value and what in return can we get!

Realizing that someone could be lost with not knowing how to live the way it is meant to be, proves that the creator’s Guidance is the most valuable thing on Earth to a human being to obtain!
Lots of people these days are trying to understand certain things that our bodies are pursuing but the question of debate with them is the limitations for that.

Have you ever heard an inner voice inside your heart wondering on money, how to seek it, how to spend it, how to save it, how to use it, what is the creator’s system it is meant to be followed with it & why?
Have you never wondered before on the actual limitations & boundaries that have been made by the one who created us to determine the relation between the two genders. What are the reasons behind that? And what are the consequences of violating such guidelines!
It is something natural that our minds never stop wondering looking for the reasons, the justifications, and the purposes that lies with what we are living with.

That is why with any product we purchase, we always find a small booklet titled “instruction manual” in which it include Almost Everything about that product.
on the meantime, Although we believe Allah has sent us –we the humans- a Guidance Book, we always want to know what does it say on the rules to obtain the guidance… how to get it?

In computer programing, there is a terminology used called the “If-Then statement”, once these statements are composed in the program, then you cannot obtain what is After “then” unless you fulfil the statement after “IF”.. this actually helped me to ease the understanding of the style condition mentioned in Surat the Spider, Verse 69 in Chapter 29, in which Allah has said:” And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our Path. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.” you will be amazed that this rule works on Every Human being including Prophets themselves – peace be upon them- . and there is a similar concept the humanity has agreed on and keeps repeating saying “ No Pain, No Gain” and they refer to pain as the efforts someone has to provide in order to gain whatever he is intending to have.
few months back, we were in the masjid celebrating a guy who embraced Islam, and everyone was happy and he was getting lots of hugs for that – he even cried from happiness-,,, few months later, I open my WhatsApp and I see a sad massage from him saying he can’t continue being a Muslim the way Allah wants him to be.
He said I am not denying that Allah is our god and Mohamed is his prophet and the Holy Quran is the words of Allah BUT I am not willing to do the efforts that it requires.. Praying five times a day, fasting a month every year, paying zakat, being honest no matter what, being patient on hard times and thankful with what I have during happy times…etc it is a lot to do!

Such cases can make you read the Quranic Rule mentioned backwards “no efforts means no Guidance”.

The word in the rule referred to the efforts to be made with the verb “ جاهدوا ” which means efforts made but with struggle, because what you need to obtain is the key to Heaven. If it is too easy for us as students in the class that “no Pain No Gain” rule applies with every student and passing at the end means hard works at the beginning. Then why is it so hard for us to realize that obtaining the key to the Ultimate prize “Heaven” requires hard and sincere work and efforts!

How Muslims Should Demand Their Rights

By His Eminence Shaikh Ahmed al Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate — A Muslim weights his deeds with the balance of piety to measures their harms and benefits and decides whether or not to embark upon done within lawful and reasonable limits. The common interest is — without a doubt — given preference over the individual interest, hence the claim of an individual’s rights is considered unlawful in Islam when it conflicts with the collective interest or undermines it, in which case the end never justifies the means. A Muslim has to contemplate both, the end and the means,

Impact Of Unfounded Rumours On Society

By His Eminence Shaikh Ahmed al Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate — Muslims are ordered not to speak of anything before verifying the correctness of what they intend to say and making sure that they aren’t telling falsehood; otherwise dire consequences will result from the spread of unfounded rumours. Allah the Exalted has laid a strong emphasis on this matter when He said: “There is not a word man utters but an observer is ready ‘to make note of it”. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “A man might speak a word without thinking about its implications, but
